Career Journals

New Feature

Career journals are a place for you to track anything you wish about your career: small wins, ideas, projects, and any other accomplishments. You can then reference these later when you're updating your resume.
If you optionally choose to make them public, you can share them via a link. Each journal entry lets you upload up to three images to document the achievement! It's a great portfolio builder!
Each career journal can be associated with any of your existing labels, experiences, or projects. Little journal icons will appear on your public resume to denote there's public journal entries available to view that are about that experience or project!

Filter Presets

New Feature

Filter presets allow you to save a given combination of labels for easy one-click access. Useful for quickly filtering for a given type of role.
Check out the presets in the dropdown menu on this page. They'll highlight the growing list of features we're adding to xptracker!

This text is part of your experience's details. Each bullet point can be labeled separately, giving you fine-tuned control. For example, this bullet point only appears if you filter for "Experiences".
While this bullet point only appers if you filter for "Filtering". There are an endless number of combinations you could use to filter your resume.
When you sign up, you also get access to an AI-assisted labeler. It's an entirely optional feature that helps you apply labels automatically.
You can also (optionally) control the order of each bullet point. This bullet point will always appear 4th if you don't have any labels applied.

Did you know roughly 80% of all employers do a web search of applicant names during the hiring process? Part of the ethos behind xptracker centered around this idea. We're here to help you control what narrative appears when people search your name.
Anything you choose to make public on xptracker can be indexed by search engines. The next time someone searches your name, the results (including AI search results) will be informed by what you *chose* to make public.
With that said, search engine indexing is an optional feature, and you can enable/disable it from your account settings page.
