Introducing Career Journals

We're happy to announce a free new feature just released for all users: career journals!

This is something we've been working on for quite some time now, and while the goal was to ship it just before the holiday season, we got too busy to meet that deadline. But close enough! The aim of career journals is twofold:

  • Create a space for you to write about anything you want. While the aim is to help you log and track your career, it's really up to you how you use this feature. We wanted to create a more free-form space to track your various mini-wins and accomplishments throughout your career, so when it comes time to write your resume, you have a lot of inspiration to draw from.
  • Help you keep yourself organized as well as to help you control the narrative of your career. Oftentimes it's hard to remember all of the work you do across a year. We write a few bullet points on a resume, but there's a larger narrative at play with your career that even you might not be fully aware of until you're looking back at it in hindsight.

To use this new feature, simply click on the new "Journal" link in the left-hand navigation menu when you log in. It's fairly intuitive, but a proper help post is coming soon. Until then, let us know what you think! You can send us feedback via the support form here.

Thanks!
